New Officers Sworn In Monday, April 5, 2010

Automatic License Plate Recognition Friday, April 2, 2010
The Hutchins Police department will soon put an Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALRP) system into service. The ALRP system was also part of a grant awarded to the police department. The system is capable of reading and identifying hundreds of license plates and matching them to stolen or wanted reports almost instantly.
Caution K-9 Unit is Here Thursday, April 1, 2010
The Hutchins Police department took delivery on a 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe as part of a Criminal Justice division Grant awarded to the Police department. The vehicle will be outfitted to accommodate a K-9 which will be used for drug interdiction and tracking lost or missing people. (Click Here for More Information)
