The Code Enforcement Officer for the City of Hutchins is responsibe for enforcing City Ordinances regarding property located within the city limits of Hutchins.

The City Ordinances which are most often violated by residents are:

Article 7.100 - JUNKED VEHICLES
Article 6.100 - TALL WEEDS, BRUSH & UNSIGHTLY VEGETATION
Article 10.300 - PARKING RESTRICTIONS

The Hutchins Police Department is starting a new program in 2009 to remind residents of these violations and gain voluntary compliance in an effort to improve the quality of life in Hutchins. Officers will be going door to door to educate homowners about various City Ordinances and also inquiring about any concerns the homeowners might have regarding public safety issues in their neighborhood.
