Frank G. McElligott is the Police Chief of Hutchins Police Department, Hutchins, Texas. Chief McElligott has a diverse law enforcement background with over thirty years of Law Enforcement experience.

Chief McElligott started his career as a police officer with the Greece Police Department in upstate New York. He also served over twenty eight years with the Plano Police Department where he held a variety of assignments. Chief McElligott has Bachelors degree in the Administration of Criminal Justice.

He holds a Certificate in Public Management from the University of Texas at Dallas and is certified in Dispute Mediation. Chief McElligott is a graduate of the Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas.

Chief McElligott is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, Texas Police Chief’s Association, the North Texas Police Chief’s Association and the International Narcotic Officers Association.
